Barcode UX Research
We investigated the height of the barcode, at least in what% of the range to scan it. In order to avoid a bad user experience, we went to various stores to scan these barcodes. 💡
The final conclusion is that under the iOS device, 50% of the total bar code height of the widget is the minimum scanned value. Below 50%, the scanner cannot detect it. 📌 |
We also want to try to design a color bar code, and we are also worried that the color will affect the scanning result of the code scanner.
We first provide various high-contrast and low-contrast barcodes, and then scan and test them at various stores. The end result is that WCAG is below the AA level, which is difficult to scan. 😭 |
